Tasks & Action Items

When Plannd analyses a meeting recording, it identifies action items and suggests assignees based on the conversation. These become tasks that you can track and manage.

Tasks are created in two ways:

  1. AI extraction — Automatically detected during analysis, linked to the action item in the summary
  2. Manual creation — Click Add task in the task panel to create one yourself

Each task can be assigned to:

  • A registered user — They’ll receive an in-app notification
  • An email address — They’ll receive an email with a link to view and update the task

Assignees can update their own task status. Session owners and editors can update any task.

Tasks support comments for quick discussion. Assignees with task-scoped access can comment on their assigned tasks without needing full session access.
