Understanding Results

After uploading a recording, Plannd runs AI analysis using the preset you selected. Here’s what each produces.

Meeting Summary

Best for general meetings, standups, and team syncs.

Produces:

• Title — AI-generated meeting title
• Attendees — Detected participants
• Key minutes — Section-by-section breakdown of discussion topics
• Action items — Tasks identified with suggested assignees

Structured Summary

Best for workshops, design reviews, and brainstorming sessions.

Produces:

• Title — AI-generated title for the session
• Summary — Concise overview of the discussion
• Key points — Categorised insights organised by topic, each with an emoji tag

Q&A Extraction

Best for interviews, AMAs, and Q&A sessions.

Produces:

• Question/answer pairs — Each question matched with its response
• Answer types — Responses categorised as text, person, date, or timestamp

Re-analysing a session

You can run additional analysis types on the same recording at any time. Click the analysis preset selector to choose a different preset — Plannd will re-use the existing transcript and generate new results without re-transcribing.

You can also re-run a completed analysis type if you want a fresh result.

Processing progress

When an analysis is running, Plannd shows a four-step progress indicator:

1. Upload — File received
2. Transcribe — Audio converted to text (longer recordings are split into chunks and processed in parallel)
3. Analyse — AI generates insights from the transcript
4. Complete — Results ready

If a step fails, you can retry directly from the progress indicator.

Editing results

All results are editable. Click Edit in the toolbar to modify summaries, fix names, or adjust action items before sharing.
